My wife Kathy and I are happy you stopped in. We are the owners and operators of Auggie’s Sheepskin, Leather Goods and Gifts, located in the beautiful mountain town of McCall Idaho.

I’m Auggie, and here’s a little bit about us: I retired from the power industry after 35 years and then set out to catch up on all my fishing and hunting; and what more beautiful place than the mountains of Idaho to do just that.

I knew some day I would find something else to do that my wife Kathy and I could enjoy together. During a scheduled short trip to Salt Lake City, and after buying Christmas sheepskin slippers for the entire family, we decided McCall needed a store that offered quality sheepskin too!

So we started researching every aspect of sheepskin. Yes we knew the benefits, beauty and comfort of sheepskin from being consumers all these years but now we needed to find the best manufacturers and distributors available. And that’s just what we have done at Auggie’s. We have educated ourselves to the differences in the breeds, grades and quality of the sheepskin. We have hand selected all of our sheepskin products to be the very best the industry has to offer. All of our vendors have given us their full support, guidance and the confidence that we are offering you the highest quality sheepskin in the industry.

Not only do we carry the best in Australian Merino Sheepskin , we offer a large assortment of leather purses, backpacks, wallets and hats. Kathy has a soft spot for all the kids and babies, so she has created a section in the store just for them. Soft plush toys, small animal purses for girls, wooden sling shots, and also a great American Made line of old fashion games for the kids of all ages.

Come up for the annual Winter Carnival festivities for an entire week of fun. McCall has excellent accommodations so bring the entire family!

Auggie’s is located inside The Pancake and Christmas House, the busiest place in town. Try their excellent food you’ll see why they are so busy! Please check out their website and browse through all the other specialty shops. The building is spectacular and located at 209 north 3rd street in McCall, Idaho.
